Sucessful k-12 to Adult Education Transtion

The Challenge

Hemet Adult School was experiencing difficulty in getting their 5th year non-grad special education students to completion.

The Solution

With funding from the consortium Hemet was able to implement a model that provided resources to hire a special education coach to serve as case manager and support the needs of the special education population.

Outcomes

This resulted in an increase in the number of special education student being able to complete and graduate after 4 years.

The Data

The data from 16/17 will show the number of graduates that has successfully completed.
