MendoLake ACE Data & Accountability Implementation

  • Consortium:
  • Type of Practice: Data & Accountability
  • Objective(s):
    Foster regional and local system integration efforts pertaining to assessment and intake of adult students.
  • Organizations that were involved: Mendo Lake ACE consortium members and Workforce Alliance of the North Bay

The Challenge

Upon creation of a common intake form, ML ACE members participated in training to implement TE and continue to work collaboratively to support each other through quarterly data review meetings. Additionally, we reviewed and approved contracts to implement a common referral/intake system called Community Pro Suites. We participated in training to implement the system and then realized we needed to have our workforce partners on board in order to best serve our most rural adult education students.

The Solution

The director and member agency administration met with our regional WDB executive director to review and reinforce the importance and value to the CPS system. CPS executive personnel then met with the regional WDB executive director to further review and reinforce the benefit of the program and how it will increase our student educational and workforce outcomes.

Outcomes

We are in the final stages of getting the WDB and EDD partners to contract with CPS. We are looking forward to full implementation of the CPS program by the end of the 2019-20 program year. We have designated funds to support this activity in our annual allocation, ongoing.

The Data

Reports from CPS will support use of the system, frequency of referrals, follow up and outcome attainment, and will be aligned to our Launchboard and TE data summaries.
